Our two beautiful puppies have added another dimension of joy to living in Little Bay...
Below you will see pictures and read stories about Alice and Lily -
our two "Jugs" (cross Jack Russel / Pug).
We adopted Alice at the beginning of April 2009.
She was just short of three months old
(born January 10th 2009 in a litter of 13 puppies).
This is Alice in her first week with us.

The next image is Alice having her first bath at home.
She was very cooperative from the start.

Early July (2009), Alice was gettin ready for her surgery - no litters for her...
After all - Toby down stairs was showing too much interest
in our innocent little girl.

When Alice was at the vet's office for her surgery, I went to the Pet Shop
to look for a particular toy to replace one she had chewed to pieces...
What I found was another Jug who was very cute and scruffy.
There were two of these puppies there in a pen - one was a boy
who looked exactly like Alice, but the scruffy one was the girl
that I could not leave behind. I called Kylie and she thought
about it for a total of about 5 seconds...
We couldn't leave Alice at home alone any more. But with a
full time
play-mate, she wouldn't be lonely (and we wouldn't feel guilty).
Lily (short for "Li'le Scruff") joined us a week after Alice came home
from surgery, and they quickly became friends (we don't know if they
know that they are actually "twins" from the same litter).
Lily settled in, then had her surgery, and they have
been inseparable ever since.
Here they are in August 2009 - age 7 months

This one is "Li'le Scruff" in November, age 10 months

More images and stories will be uploaded soon - keep watching.
